Savoury and satisfying classic chicken noodle stir-fry
Savoury, comforting, and oh-so-satisfying, classic chicken noodle stir-fry is a dish that never fails to impress. With tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and al dente noodles stir-fried to perfection with a flavourful sauce, this hearty and healthful meal is perfect for any occasion, whether it's a quick weeknight dinner or a crowd-pleasing party dish.
For this recipe, we used the De Buyer Alchimy Wok to perfect this delicious chicken noodle stir-fry. Ingredients
- 200g chicken fillet
- 75ml teriyaki sauce
- 250g Chinese noodles
- 100g mangetout
- Freshly ground pepper
Method
Preparation
- Cut the chicken fillets into small cubes.
- Marinate in teriyaki sauce for at least 1 hour.
- Cut the mangetout into wedges.
- Cook the Chinese noodles according to the instructions on the package.
Stir-frying
- Heat some oil in your wok.
- Take the chicken cubes out of the marinade and drain them.
- Quickly brown them in the wok, stirring, until golden brown.
- Add the mangetout.
- Sauté for 2 minutes.
- Over a low heat, season with pepper and add the rest of the marinade.
- Add the cooked Chinese noodles and simmer for 4-5 min, stirring regularly.
- Turn off the heat, mix and top off with a sprinkle of cherry tomatoes, sesame seeds and a dash of sesame oil.
