The Best German Made Non-Stick Frypan Under $200
Hands down German-made Woll Diamond is the best non-stick frypan in our opinion. We have tried and tested scores of brands and this classic range still come out on top. We recommend the Woll Diamond Induction 24cm Frypan to customers who want to cook every day. What we love about Woll Diamond is its nifty removable handle adds versatility. Without a handle, the frypan can be stored in compact spaces, placed in the oven as a baking or roasting dish, or served directly from oven to table.
This range from Woll takes it up a notch with a non-stick surface that is crafted from diamond crystals (yes, you read that right!).
Hold on, isn't that just a marketing gimmick?
Not when it comes to Woll! In this case, Woll has legitimate reasons to utilise diamond crystals to create its non-stick surface. For instance;
- Diamonds are naturally hard-wearing, giving the non-stick superior durability
- The same durability makes it metal utensil safe
- Diamonds are excellent heat conductors
- It has extreme heat tolerance of up to 250°C, making it suitable for use in the oven
- It's a natural non-stick material
Pair these qualities with Woll's cleverly designed detachable handle, and you'll have a versatile stovetop to oven to table piece for all your cooking needs. The detachable handle also allows you to easily store it in small kitchens to save on already scarce space.
How to care for your non-stick frypan?
While many non-stick brands say they are dishwasher safe, we do not recommend dishwashing if you really want to get the most out of your investment. Often the harsh chemicals found in dishwasher tablets is what causes non-stick coatings to peel. We recommend you wash your frypans in warm soapy water.
If you ever find black spots on your pan this is often what we call carbon build-up. This can be simply removed by creating a paste using warm water and bi-carb soda. Grab a EuroScrubby and lightly scrub your pan using this bicarb paste. Once done rinse with warm water and your quality non-stick pan should be good as new!
