Villeroy & Boch was founded in 1748 by Nicolas Villeroy, a French tilemaker, and his son-in-law, Francois Boch, a German potter. The company is best known for its ceramic products, which include tableware, tiles, and sanitaryware. However, it also produces glassware, metalware, and furniture.
