As the blade features a serrated edge, it is able to easily pierce through rougher textures without making a mess or ruining the bread or cake that is being portioned. It can also be used for slicing up fruits with thicker, tougher skins such as watermelons and cantaloupes.
The Wusthof Crafter series is one of Wusthof’s nine collections, featuring traditional brass rivets, water resistant rustic smoked oak shell handles, and Wusthof’s signature trident branded onto the handles. The blades are forged using strong, resilient stainless steel (X50CRMOV15), with a Rockwell hardness of 58 to help ensure the blade’s durability and cutting precision for years to come.
