Dicing, mincing and slicing – this knife can do it all. The santoku or a three-uses knife is Japanese innovation meeting Western production in this Wusthof Crafter Santoku Knife. Featuring a 17cm dimpled blade, slicing through ingredients is easy as the dimples provide air pockets to deliver a frictionless surface between the ingredient and the blade. Coming with a thick full-edge blade, a half-bolster and a wide curved knife handle, this knife has been created to give the user an optimal and comfortable experience despite prolonged handling. This knife is also much thinner and lighter compared to western style knives, making it perfect for slivering thin boneless meats and vegetables with ease. This blade has also been sharpened to an ideal 15° angle with Wusthof’s PEtec technology so you can be sure every slice is even and flawless.
The Wusthof Crafter series is one of Wusthof’s nine collections, featuring traditional brass rivets, water resistant rustic smoked oak shell handles, and Wusthof’s signature trident branded onto the handles. The blades are forged using strong, resilient stainless steel (X50CRMOV15), with a Rockwell hardness of 58 to help ensure the blade’s durability and cutting precision for years to come.
